-Award winning band, Train, is set to perform at the 61ST Annual MISS UNIVERSE® Competition. The worldwide telecast will be broadcast live from Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Wednesday, December 19 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC with a Spanish simulcast on Telemundo.

Statement released by Beauties of Canada, license holders for the Miss Universe pageant about recent events:
Due to unforeseen personal circumstances. Sahar Biniaz, Miss Universe Canada 2012, will no longer be able to represent the country at the 2012 Miss Universe pageant taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada, December 19th.
She will be replaced by her 1st runner-up, Adwoa Yamoah from Calgary, who has taken the responsibility to compete for Canada in such short notice.

Supsup will head to Las Vegas to take fans behind-the-scenes as the 89 contestants prepare for exclusive events, such as the National Costume Event on December 14.
